The development of Sindhi studies has been confirmed in recent months. However, this issue begins with an interview with Derryl MacLean, a researcher whose work has been crucial to this academic field. In particular, his book Religion and Society in Arab Sindh, although published in 1989, remains an essential study for anyone interested in Sindh and the Sindhis. The other sections reflect the SS boom, with several field reports from established researchers like or Sylvie Fanchette on the Indus Delta, but also from students like Lara Scaiola on Daraza, where Sachal Sarmast’s dargah is located. The issue closes with reports on several leading scientific events that have been organized in the last months.
