The Centre for South Asian Studies (CNRS-EHESS) welcomes Dr. Humera Naz, who will spend some weeks with us as a visiting scholar. Dr Naz is Assistant Professor of General History, University of Karachi (Pakistan). She is a well known specialist of the modern History of Sindh, Mughal and post-Mughal periods. She worked extensively on the Persian sources and the making of a historiography of Sindh. While in Paris, she plans to shift to the post-partition period, with a focus on the reconstruction of the history in Pakistan, with Sindh as a case study.
